How much advanced notice does STID need to schedule an interpreter/s?

There are no rules as to how much advanced notice we need to fill an order; however, the sooner you contact us, the better.  We realize that situations arise with little notice and, although we cannot promise to have an interpreter available, we will do our best to accommodate you.

Rates

There is a two hour minimum per interpreter.  As situations vary, so do fees.  Most assignments require only one interpreter; however, assignments in excess of two hours require two interpreters.  This is standard in order to prevent fatigue and injury.  Please contact our office to provide details of the assignment so we can customize a quote for you. After the 2 hour minimum, all interpreting assignments are billed in half-hour increments, per interpreter.

Standard mileage rates: $.485 cents per mile calculated either via Google Maps or MapQuest.

Cancellations

Cancellations must be made in writing via fax or email at least 48 business hours prior to the assignment time.  If we do not receive adequate notification you will be charged for the total contract time.
